Wellhub pays gyms once a month for each check-in, at a rate anchored to your own published prices. That rate can then be reduced by a Success Fee and a volume adjustment, and Wellhub reviews your terms after six months.
For many gyms it’s one of the better-paying networks. The details below decide how good.
How the model works
Wellhub, formerly Gympass, is an employer benefit. A company pays Wellhub, and its employees choose a plan tier. When an employee visits your gym, it counts as a check-in, and Wellhub pays you for your check-ins each month, around the 15th to 17th.
A member can check in at one venue per day. High-end studios may have monthly visit caps in some tiers.
How your rate is set
Wellhub’s partner support chatbot gave us the following in September 2026. Confirm each point in writing in your own proposal.
- Your prices set the rate. Wellhub uses the prices in your application or on your website. You don’t have to offer a discount.
- A Success Fee applies. Ask how it’s calculated.
- A volume adjustment may lower the rate once you reach a high number of visits.
- Terms are reviewed after six months.
- No enrollment fees can be charged to Wellhub visitors.
Because your published prices anchor the rate, make sure your drop-in, class pack, and monthly prices are current on your website before you apply.
What you control
You choose which Wellhub plan tiers to accept, and which activities and services Wellhub members can book. This is the most important decision you’ll make. Accepting only the higher tiers, and keeping training and specialty services as paid extras, protects your pricing.
The biggest risk: members switching
If a current member works for a company that offers Wellhub, they may be able to keep coming to your gym through Wellhub instead of paying you. Same person, same gym, less money for you.
Before joining, find out which large employers your members work for and whether those employers offer Wellhub.
Signing up
Signup is free, with no registration or cancellation fees. You need a Google Business Profile. The application asks for your name, address, activities, and standard pricing, and a legal representative of the business signs. Wellhub reviews it and emails you a proposal. Your profile goes live one to two business days after validation.
Wellhub connects with more than 50 gym software platforms, including Mindbody, ABC Fitness, ClubReady, Daxko, and WellnessLiving. Personal trainers can join through Trainiac.
Who it fits
Wellhub is often a clear yes for a gym with empty hours near large employers, where few current members work for Wellhub client companies. Slow down if many of your members work for big employers, or if you’re already full at peak.
